For women, fertility testing may include hormone blood tests, ovarian reserve assessment, ultrasound scans and investigations to assess ovulation, the uterus and fallopian tubes. For men, semen analysis is commonly performed to evaluate sperm count, movement and morphology. Additional tests may be recommended for either partner depending on medical history, examination findings and the results of initial investigations.
