Male infertility can be related to low sperm count, reduced sperm movement, abnormal sperm morphology, problems with sperm production or delivery, hormonal conditions, infections and certain genetic or medical conditions. Lifestyle and environmental factors may also affect sperm health. A semen analysis is commonly one of the first investigations used to assess male fertility, with additional tests recommended when necessary.
